Router has set downtimes between 8.30am and 5.30pm every day :(

Hi so this is my third time on the forum in 3 years. One was 2014 where between July and Sept we had issues where the router would drop out for an hour or so at a time and come back between working hours. It got fixed...

2015 between July and November we had EIGHT engineers out to try and fix what seemed to be the same issue. They did everything they could. Finally fixed...

This year 2016 - things started happening August... just the odd dip. Don't think too much of it and now again between working hours - the router goes green as if starting up, it goes orange to orange flashing, then to blue BUT not getting the internet, then orange flashing with a red B symbol.

Can anyone shed any light as to whether i can find out if BT are doing regular work at my exchange or the box we are connected to? Are they likely to do work at the same time each year as this is becoming a bit of a habit!!

It's not totally clear as to what the orange means. The router seems to say that it's struggling to detect or get authorised?

So some of the log says this (although i am unsure of what it means!)

15:06:42, 06 Sep.( 16.240000) System start
14:41:52, 06 Sep.(21812.860000) The system is going DOWN for reboot.

I tried to copy some of the bits that seemed to possibly help flag up what the issue might be?

We had so many things done last year that i have no idea what this could be this time!

Thanks in advance!

Re: Router has set downtimes between 8.30am and 5.30pm every day :(

I wondered if i can get assigned Paul again from last year? He will know my case and how we went through 8 engineers and what each one fixed in order to get us up and running.

I would like to have a record of what we had done iso if i can get an engineer out i can show them what they need to do this time. It's likely that something that got fixed last year has changed!
