We were getting >6Mb then all of a sudden the bb speed has reduced to <2Mb. Reported this to BT and spent hours on the phone troubleshooting but no change. Engineer came out and changed homehub to homehub 3 and fitted new line box but still exactly the same. Can anyone suggest why this is and what can be done to solve the problem.

It sounds like your IP Profile is set at 2mbps.
please can you run a BT speed test (including IP Profile) http://speedtest.btwholesale.com (not beta version)[Best done with a wired, Ethernet, connection] After Quick Test is done you need to click "Further Diagnostics" to get IP Profile. The post the results here.
your profile is down to 2mb and may be stuck. can you repost your adsl stats to show conenction time please.
if conenction time is 3+ days then you need to contact mods to get profile kidked into action
can take up to 5/6 working days for mods to contact you
Hi, thanks for the reply. Been away for the week so not been able to monitor the status but connection this am shows only 6:45. I'm not aware of a power issue as other devices in the house have been ok. I'll monitor this week.
can you run btspeedtester and when first test completes run diagnostic test and post results - see if profile now 7.15mb
