We tested that over the phone - the chap was really good - and it didn't really make a difference. It's a bit of a hiss, sometimes a crackle but definitely better than yesterday, in test socket.
Just re-tried a speed test and definitely no difference!

John, I couldn't get through on 151, I phoned the 0800 number listed on the webpage, and made the complaint about the phone but did say it had affected TV and broadband, and the person I spoke with agreed there was a fault!
