I would say you probably have a faulty home hub. Do you have another ADSL router you can try?
Its the only thing you can try, but you will have to contact the broadband helpdesk, and say that your hub is faulty, as it keeps resetting itself.
They should send a repacement, and a returns box to send the old one back.
I think you have tried everything else.
certainly sounds like hub on it's way out so phone CS and ask for a new hub. are you still in contract with BT? if so then you should get a replacement free just tell them all the things you have done and hub still drops conenction
I had a long conversation with bt and they are going to send me a BT Home hub 3 🙂
Hope it fixes it, i will get back in touch when i have the new hub installed,
Thank you guys!
just post back when you get new hub connected with new stats hopefully this will help along with all the other work you have done to improve your connection
Got it set up 🙂 Also i have seen a huge change in bt trucks around my area and the checker has updated to October 2013 🙂
I will post back in 3 - 5 days when it is fixed 😄
once you get the 3+ days then you can see if mods will reset your noise margin to 6db which will give you faster conenction speed
