I note your advice about 5 days for the change to take effect and that this should be by 14 May. I’ll keep an eye on it.
Hi John, current position is that yesterday evening BB was 0.6 DL and similar UL. I reset the router (that was a mistake!) - hub flashing orange and no connection until 11 this morning. Currently about 1 Mbps DL and 0.6 UL. Is this what you expect to be happening at this stage? Just to confirm, prior to 26 March usual was 4.5 DL and 0.7 UL.
Hi @BB-or-not-BB sorry to hear that you had no connection yesterday. You are still on the fibre set up until tomorrow so I would expect that you will have some issues until the change back to copper is completed. Once this order is completed your connection will be ok.
Hi John. It’s now 6:10 in the evening on the 14th of May and my BT hub is still showing an orange light and we have no broadband. It seems to me that my problem is still not being solved almost 2 months after it started. Can you chase this up again for me please as it seems to be quite ridiculous that it hasn’t been fixed. We are getting pretty desperate about this as we need our broadband to work. What is the problem with fixing it?
Factory reset completed. Still no connection. Will check on it again in the morning. Any other suggestions? This is very upsetting for us. This has been going on for so long now.
15 May position - appears to be improved. HUB connected. 5.9 Mbps DL and 0.3 UL. I will continue to monitor the connection and let you know if any further intervention appears necessary. Thank you very much for your help so far and I hope this turns out to be all okay again.
