so looks like incoming call caused router to drop conenction. are you sing test socket with new filter just to eliminate any problem from internal wiring if yes then looks like either faulty socket or a high resistence fault requiring to yo report a phone fault to 151
I'll get rid of the wired phone (put it as OOO until this is cleard up) as that is known as not in full working order (at least in this premises!)
No not using Test sckt...if I can catch the router booting I'll disconnect then put it in that but not unless I have to!!

I had the wired phone in to signal when a call is incoming as the wireless phone blocks (USUALLY, didn't block this International though it used to block them when it [wired phone] was in the dodgy NTE5) unwanteds....It may just be an incompatibility between handsets? (off topic but the spell checker can't string 2 words together i.e. 'a incompatibility' corrected manually!)
There's my FAULT!
Got same call again, this time as that phone above wasn't plugged into the line, the router (DSL) stayed up. (BTW! some scam artist pretending to be computer maintenance....Promptly blocked).
Phone must have had some issues with my BT6510 wireless handsets ? Privacy blocking of International/withheld seems to cause problems with more than 1 model/type of phones.
Saved me doing remote reset of hub ...I guess this is just settling down now after I've put everything back together, like the NTE5 but without the phone.

I've got to do some maintenance on the plug sckts (changing from 1 to 4 gang & other light switch rplacement) so the power is going off. Which gives me chance to plug into the TEST SCKT of master phone terminal (SS' s'thing type).
Shall post stat upon reboot when done.
