We have a fault which appears to have resolved itself. This is the second time this has happened and the first time the system told us to book an engineer but then BT contacted us to say they had found an external fault and engineer had been cancelled.
This time the fault again resolved itself 2 days from reporting the fault, but when you track the fault (VOL053-*******) it is still sitting at the first set of tests with BT and listed as "ongoing". Engineer is due on 4th January. We need to cancel this, but not sure how to, especially at New Year with festive working hours.
We do not want to have to pay a call out charge and do not now need the engineer.We are carers and don't have time to spend hours on phone either.
