Dfenceman-I agree I have had free satellite for 15 years and its great. Not just Freesat channels but German etc. Your dish could be used but extra equipment would need to be fitted. But as a temporary solution it would do the job until its fixed.And your right thats a lot of money. I think BT charge quarterly=£300. He should get a small network programme that shows daily use and then he could have actual evidence of his use.

as was said at very start I have difficulty in the OP paying £96pm.  my monthly cost is about 33% of that but admitedly I don't have bt vision

likewise i cannot see how the price is that high line rental top infinity package any time calls vision basic package around 55.00 a month something very wrong at 96
