i have recently been upgraded to adsl 2 and having alot of disconects every 2 hours can you put interleaving on my line please ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Only the forum mods can do that, but I would be looking to keep fastpath. You have almost no errors on your line, so Interleaving is most likely going to have no impact as Interleaving is generally meant for lines which have many errors that need correcting.
Can you give more infromation about the "lot of disconnects"? Is it your router that's disconnecting or are your devices just losing wifi connectivity?
Its the low noise margin that is probably causing the disconnects. You will have to wait for 10 days for the DLM to make any corrections.
Interleaving appears to be on the uplink, as its showing FEC errors.
You could try a few extra disconnects yourself, and see if you can force the DLM to drop the connection speed slightly, which will increase the noise margin.
just tried that theres no noise its fine we have 3 lines in the house the one upstairs gets 21mbps down and 1.0 up the one downstairs this one im mentioning has always dropped out a little but not this bad never goes over 1 day connection as the line upstairs gets about 22 days and the download speed on this line is 17.5 and 1 up why is it not like the one upstairs ?
different pair of wires so no 2 connections are the same
just put on a openreach mk3 faceplate will let it settle for 10 days then let you know
As previously mentioned it could be the 3db noise margin - some lines are put on this instead of the 6db but unfortunately the connection becomes unstable. Hopefully over the 10 days the DLM learns that the margin is too low and reverts to the 6db.
okay cheers will let you know soon
can you post any router stats from the router as it will be a good comparison in a few days when you post new stats
