BT Openzone - is there any region in the UK it doesn't cover?

Go to solution

Hi!

Is there any region in the UK that BT Openzone does not cover, and if so is there a map or list I can obtain?

I think you also asked about Openreach and where they don't cover?

There are a couple of places which have their own telephone networks which are not managed by Openreach. Notably Kingston-upon-Hull and a couple of the Channel Islands. See the brief comments on fixed line services here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telecommunications_in_the_United_Kingdom

There are also places where other cable and fibre companies operate. In these areas the phone lines are still Openreach but the other companies can provide a phone service over their connections. As such they are not non-Openreach areas, but non-Openreach services are available.
