BT survey pop up on iPhone

Anyone getting annoying pop ups on iPhones asking you to do a BT survey ?
I have cleared history on chrome and safari but pop up keeps coming back.

It says - national telecom is holding a market research for the next 7-14 days and we will select 10 lucky winners for prizes of iPhone galaxy phone or Aldi voucher and that my IP address has been selected ..
It looks like it’s from BT same logo and everything.

Do BT every respond to these sort of issues especially as someone impersonating them ?

Yes, this Survey pop up can be annoying. It may be a cookie/ history problem.

There may be a way around the problem.....

Complete the survey, (politely). Close down Safari.

Wait for One hour, or more.

Next time you use Safari, clear history for the last hour, (hence the previous one hour wait). For that day only clear for the last hour.

Next day you can clear Safari history for that day.....and so on.

Never clear all clear all history on exit, unless absolutely necessary, e.g. a reset.

The Bt survey pop up is quite safe, unlike some others mentioned elsewhere.

It’s just a guess, but I think they are waiting for a response, then they leave you in peace......for a while, until the cookie, or whatever, expires.

Yes, I have had this survey frequently on the iPad. You can argue until you are blue in the face, but it comes back, even on the Windows pc. There’s more control on Windows, though.
