"BT brand saved as boss overhauls strategy"
Dreading the transfer of my broadband and phone to EE, and planning to leave for another provider, a piece in today's Sunday Telegraph looks like the CEO has made a very welcome decision :
"The BT brand has been saved from the consumer scrap heap as its chief executive plots a radical strategy overhaul.
The former telecoms monopoly announced in 2022 that it was ditching BT as its flagship brand for millions of customers, instead focusing on selling broadband and mobile services under the EE name.
However, these plans have now been shelved by Allison Kirkby, the new chief executive, amid concerns that dropping the brand risked alienating older customers. As a result, both the BT and EE brands will continue to be used side by side."

Re: "BT brand saved as boss overhauls strategy"
Sound even better if BT stuck to broadband
EE did moblie/ tv only
With plusnet remaining the lower cost alternative
