Hi. In the last few weeks I have been receiving dozens of clearly fake calls mainly starting with the prefix 021. Aside from inadvertingly picking-up the first few (and quickly getting rid of them) they have continued. The more numbers I add to the BT Call protect blacklist or my phone's Blocked Number list the more they seem find to pester me with. I'm currently using caller display to filter them but of course that doesn't stop the initial ringing of the phone. Like a lot of people I'm currently working from home and this is a real nuisance. Is there any way to stop all 021* numbers or has anybody else any suggestions I can use as this is driving me nuts! Thanks in advance.
Just buy a phone which has call blocking.
The BT 4600 is quite good.

Hi Keith.
Thanks for the reply.
I already have a call blocking phone but the more numbers I add to the blocked list the more numbers they find to call me on. Unless there are phones out there where you can specify number ranges or areas?
Here is the link to the manual for the phone blocking instructions
I believe you want page 25.
Hope that helps.

The idea behind the BT4600, is that only numbers that are stored on your phone will get through, everyone else will have to announce themselves first. Fake callers never do. Once they announce themselves, you can choose whether to take the call
Thank you @Moggy56 @Keith_Beddoe it seems like there are a few ways to block the callers with this phone. I will give it a try.
