Re: 0901 -- for the attention of Keith

Hi Keith

My service is BT BROADBAND

I've checked around and can't find a reason (there is probably one right under my nose)

Is there a block on these 0901

Haven't come across the problem before

Thanks for your consideration

Respects

Clive

Re: 0901

BT apply a bar to certain premium rate number groups to prevent people running up large bills.  You could ask them to remove it.

Usually its only put on by request.

Do you pay BT for your phone calls?

I guess you get a message saying that you cannot call these number from this line, or something similar.

Hi. Welcome to the forums.

Do you have any form of call barring option on your phone line ? There are different types, and sometimes based on exchange type I believe. I think that International and premium rate barring is done on some exchanges, but are separate for others.

Tp be frank, you should be aware that you have call barring options - and you may have a PIN you can use to enable access to dial a premium rate number on an individual call basis.
