Re: 1.5 miles from cabinet

Now your house is part of the 34% that's not on cabinet PE1 but as I said, the cabinet is irrelevant.

All of this is speculation but it looks quite positive that you'll get FTTP in the near future.

Re: 1.5 miles from cabinet

If your postcode is part of Openreach's native FTTP plans then it should be provided with no installation cost. Once again I'd urge you to get in contact with superfast wales and explain what I've shown you about your postcode and fttp availability.

If you do get FTTP, you don't have to go for the full 330/30 package, Infinity 1 with 40/10 and Infinity 2 with 80/20 are available on FTTP. As it a 4th package offering 220/20 I believe.

Re: 1.5 miles from cabinet

No. That's why you need to speak to Superfast Wales.

Re: 1.5 miles from cabinet

Hi wush786

In some cases where areas are too far away from their FTTC enabled cabinet to obtain a VDSLx signal, Superfast Cymru has deployed solutions to enable those areas to obtain a superfast rated broadband connection. In some cases this has been a Fibre to the Premise or Fibre to the Remote Node solution for example. The solution depends on the complexity, cost and overall coverage to that area.

As you're area is split between 2 cabinets, then as other have suggested you need to contact Superfast Cymru with your landline number or full address to see if they have any information for your area.

You can do this by email: info@superfast-cymru.com

Or via Twitter on @superfastcymru or @cyflymucymru

The Superfast Cymru Team are very good at replying back to information requests. They will not be able to give you an exact deployment completion date, however they may be able to give you an estimated seasonal deployment comp. date.

Also note that the information may not be down to an exact premise level.
