19th July: BT Cloud update for iOS published today

Hi all,

Today we've published an update to BT Cloud for iPhones and iPads. We're releasing this update as a 'phased release', which means it won't automatically update for everyone at the same time - if you have Automatic Updates turned on in your App store settings then the update will automatically appear at some point over the next 7 days. If you want to get your hands on it straight away then you can search for 'BT Cloud' in the Apple App Store, and press 'Update'.

The new app contains the following improvements:

-BT Cloud will now automatically arrange your photos into Albums, based on when and where they were taken. As an example, if you take 20 photos while in Glasgow over the next weekend, BT Cloud will automatically create an Album containing these photos.
-We've made photos bigger and videos bigger throughout the app, and improved the layout of several screens.
-We've improved the loading time for photos, videos, and other content
-Minor bug fixes and performance improvements

Thanks,

Joe (Senior Product Manager, BT Cloud)

If, like me, you use iTunes to update apps then it should be there now - under Apps>Updates.

Just got the update. Have been frustrated by BT Cloud at times in the past even though the amount of storage is great when bundled with BT Broadband. The new update is fantastic and makes BT Cloud infinitely more usable and user friendly. Great work! Thanks!
