1TB vs 500GB UHD Youview box

I have just ordered a TV package including the UHD Sports channel. They are sending me a Youview box which I assume will be a 500GB one. I already have and am using an older 1TB box. Will there be any need to use the new box?

I am not concerned about the capacity as I don't record much. I was wondering if the newer box would have any other improvements in picture quality or speed of operation?

Hi @nashmills 

As far as I'm aware the only difference is the hard drive. It has been said that if anyone has a problem with a 1TB STB then it will be replaced like for like and not with a 500GB unit. There's also talk of a new STB launching (early) next year, another reason why the 500GB STB would be the same as the 1TB.
