Hi All,

Just to let you know that the BT tech team contacted me today and pushed a new version of firmware to my SH2 and asked me to test to see if the issue is resolved.

I have now installed the new firmware and run some initial tests and am pleased to report that the new firmware does appear to have resolved the issue, I am able to ping between bands now and initial functionality tests between my devices on 2.4ghz and my devices on 5ghz are all coming back positive.

I will continue to monitor things over the next few days and report any issues I may find back to the tech team but it looks like there is light at the end of this particular tunnel now.

I also got pushed the updated firmware today and it does seem to have worked.  Testing it or over the next few days for stability...

I think version v0.26.04.04227-BT should be pushed out immediately anyway . There must be many not aware of this problem, who just think they have a broken system.

Hi @AndyM99   I have been running the new patch (interesting that it is exactly the same firmware number) since midday and is certainly an improvement. However my iPad (on 5 GHz) cannot see two Harmony Hubs (on 2.4 GHz). I’ll wait 24 hours before rebooting everything.

Edit: I just rebooted the SH2 and it now showing v0.26.04.04227-BT

Interesting as I noticed the firmware was updated on my SH2 today. Re-instating the 5G band and I was able to ping my printer from a 5G Mac to the 2.4G printer this time without issue, however it still didn't actually print and would not communicate with the printer. Back to just the 2.4G channel for now.

Received the new firmware today too. It's looking much better, but I did get a moment where I saw the old problem of what it used to do. Possibly something to do with how it handles one device jumping from 5GHz to 2.4GHz and vice versa and also the communicating with the other 2.4GHz device. Just like @AndyM99 I am also stress testing it with the Sonos which is where I looking to see the problem happen.

UPDATE - I've switched off an advanced WiFi setting on my Samsung phone which says "Use mobile data whenever your WiFi Internet connection is slow or unstable"  just to eliminate the possibility of this feature interfering with how the phone switches between WiFi band frequencies.

Hi. 
I am also getting this issue. My SONOS setup is getting affected the most. I can only connect the SONOS app from my iPhone, MacBook and IPad when connected to the 2.4Ghz band which means turning off 5Ghz on the SH2 - not ideal. Took me a while to figure this out, then I found this forum. Started a few weeks back which seems to relate to what people are saying about a firmware release in mid April. How do I get hold of this new SH2 firmware? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
