@NeilO So far, the factory reset (via the web interface) appears to have done the trick. Thanks.
Hi @NeilO
Glad I found this forum. I spent hours trying to get to the bottom of this issue with household electronics not communicating as they used to. In the end I turned off one of the bands but not ideal!
When will the update be pushed out to everyone?
Thanks,
Simon
Replying to the resolution and update from BT.
I'll need an update as well please. Phones on 5Ghz not getting access to devices on 2.4Ghz. Printers, SONOS etc, although Laptop devices appear to work okay. Switched off 5Ghz and normal service is resumed.
Look forward to the firmware update.
Let me know if you need any more information
Hi, new to the forum - also having issues with sonos and printer connections with 5ghz enabled.
How do I get the firmware update? I spoke to BT online support a week or so back and told me it would be resolved that week. Not heard anything since.
Please send me the new firmware. Thanks.
Hi Neil
please would it be possible for someone to contact me to arrange the upgrade as I’m simply not able to use my networked systems.
David
Thanks Mods for all your help so far.
I was told via PM last Thursday, that my ticket had been passed to the firmware team, and to expect an update in 24 to 48 hours. However, after a reboot of the Smart Hub 2 (power cycled using the switch on the back) about 10 minutes ago, it is still showing the firmware version v0.26.03.01286-BT.
Could I get a follow up on the update?
I remember when we first got the Smart Hub 2, I had to exchange it, as we were initially sent a DSL Smart Hub 2 by mistake, and we had to swap for an FTTP model to connect to the ONT in our home - could it be that the update hasn't come to our hub because of this?
