2 Master Sockets?

Hi All,

Firstly apologies if this is not the right place to ask this, I have scoured the internet and can't seem to get the answer and wans't sure on the right forum.

Anyway recently moved into a flat and noticed the broadband isn't great (Maximum we can get is 15mbs). However not even touching that number. I have looked around the flat and noticed there are two BT Openreach sockets and a blank socket. The Openreach sockets look like NET5 sockets from what I can tell. As I understand there should really only be one master, could it be the case one of them is a slave? If so is there anyway to tell perhaps from the cableing?

This is the socket.

Thanks in advance if you're able to put me in the right direction

Re: 2 Master Sockets?

Can you see where the incoming openreach cable enters your home,? Master would be first socket

Or the master should have 2 wires connected to terminals A&B on back of master and extension connected to terminals 2&5
Are you a bt broadband customer?
