2 connections, 1 pc

I have two BT lines coming into my house.  One feeds a wireless network of pcs, the other a wired connection to a single pc.  I am having connection problems with the wired connection which keeps dropping.

While the connection problem is being solved, is it possible (and simple) to add a wireless usb dongle to my wired pc and pick up the wireless network with that?

Thanks

Re: 2 connections, 1 pc

should work fine just disconnect the ethernet cable from the pc and then you should be able to see your network ssid - just connect and then enter your wireless password.  should connect right away

Marvellous.  Works beautifully.  Thanks.  I didn't want to try without confirmation in case in doing so I visited the wrath of doom on my pc.
