2013 March BT infinity

I live in westhoughton,

On the map it says that BT will be coming to my area.

The D-Slam has been fitted last week and i am curious will it take 4 months to get into place when the D-Slam is already fitted?

Re: 2013 March BT infinity

installing the box is only the start of what can be a long process

the power has to be connected
the fibre tubing has to be installed witch is often delayed by blocked ducts
the fibre has to be blown down the tubes
the whole thing has then to be tested and commissioned
their may be delays at any stage

Sincerely, you'd be better reading the Beano rather than taking any notice of Bullitt's rubbish.

He doesn't know, and neither do I.

Only Openreach know their schedule of works ... and they are very busy.   😉

'How long will it take without delays?'

No one on here, not even the MOD's can tell you that because every one is different. Some take six weeks, some take six months.

If a RDSLAM has been installed it will be enabled and ready to take orders at some point in the future. All you can do is sit and wait.
