Still waiting .... anybody know the algorithm used to roll out the update ? Model # order, Geographical .... or what ?

restart your boxes if you haven't got it. 

My UHD box after it's been up a week or 2 stops checking for software updates correctly. It can do it properly and get it just fine after a reboot. just hold the power button down on top of the box for a 10 seconds, then when it reboots it should inform you of the update almost as soon as it's finished booting.

Is the update going to fix the ongoing cutting the end off series recordings, that would be worth a update

I agree about cutting end off some series recording but when I asked about this a few months back I was told it how some of the channel send out a signal or something.
Also about resetting the box I have tried this and no.luck. Anyway I don't have the Ulrta HD box just the BT Youview + G4 box.

Thanks for the reply Darren, but its been going on so long now someone must know how to fix it, charging for a service that does not work properly is not good.

same here: nobody on this site or the YouView Forum seems to know why this update is so protracted .....
