Hi,
I am trying to replace a BT Homehub 5 with a Draytek router. It simply wont connect.
The username on the homehub is bthomehub@btbroadband.com with no password.
I have tried bt and BT as the password. Guy on BT support didnt know anything else it could be, any ideas I need to ditch the BT HomeHub as its flakey.
Thanks
What Draytek router is it? Is it a VDSLModem/router combined?
Try this - https://www.draytek.co.uk/archive/kb/kb_vigor_v2750_setup.html
The layout of most recent Draytek routers are similar and also check for updated firmware.
Sorry for delay in getting back. I tried with a 2820 and a 2860 both dual WAN modem/routers. I will have a look at the instructions. Bother works perfect with my Virgin superhub
You need a VDSL modem/router.
The 2820 is only an ADSL mode/router but the 2860 is a VDSL modem/router and should work.
The TP-Link N600 TD-W9980 would be much cheaper.
Virgin use cable broadband which is not the same as VDSL.
