4 MONTHS PROBLEMS WITH INTERNET AND PHONE LINE !

I just want to try this forum as a last resort to see if the moderators are any less useless than almost every other BT employee I have been unfortunate enough to deal with ! 4 months with virtually un-useable phone line and internet. Trying to sort it out via their Indian call centre which is as much use as a chocolate fire guard. They refuse to let me speak to a manager (several times ) they also refuse to give me an address to write to or an English number to phone. They also refuse to send me a deadlock letter. Engineers turn up with no appointment and achieve nothing . HELP !!!

what is the problem with your phone line if you would care to post details then I am sure somone here will be able to help you once your phone problem is resolved your broadband should improve automatically
this is a customer self help forum the only BT employees are the forum moderators who do not read every post

there is No UK phone numbers

I know just how bad it is!nobody wants to help.we moved and got the phone working but no broadband!its been a month now.all we want is a number to make an official complaint.

Sorry for the delay getting back to this. My Broadband very rarely works when I`m at home so I don`t get a chance to post very often !

First reported a crackly phone line and regular loss of Broadband in January. Since then I have seen BT at it`s worst. Indian call centre that are expert at making excuses , telling lies and not much else. Engineers who turn up without appointments and without any knowlege of the problem or what has ( or has not ) been done previously. Contractors dug a hole outside my neighbours house and fractured a water main then had the nerve to tell her she would have to get the Water Company to come and repair it ! This hole has been dug out and filled in twice with no improvement to the line. I am paying for a phone line and internet that are useless and it`s so frustrating that I am powerless to get anything done about it. I have been in touch with the Ombudsman who gave me an address in England to complain to but they have not bothered to reply.

 All in all it`s been a total nightmare.

They normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 3 working days they will take personal ownership of your problem until resolved and will keep you informed of progress


They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved
