Hi Unfortunately changing isp will not resolve your connection problem as regardless of isp they will still be using the same copper pair from your home to the exchange the only way to solve this is to get the line fixed as to profile time the same applies on all isps the way the system works it need to see a stable connection to increase the ip profile

Nope but it'll be a lot cheaper.

The problems you are having can be fixed you just have to keep pushing contact the mods again they can see the openreach reports and take further action for you

Well that didn't last................

Hub hasn't rebooted or restarted, just dropped connection speed, when that happens it never goes up on it's own, I have to restart the hub !

Hi for your connection speed to drop it can only happen when the hub disconnects There is no other way

It doesn't only happen when the hub disconnects, it's dropped connection speed before ovenight without rebooting............

 

I posted this at 14:24 today.......

 

"Just rebooted the hub earlier, now connected at 1344k, not high enough for a 1250k profile."

 

The hub now...............

it does not have to reboot to drop connection your internet connection can drop there fore reconnecting at a higher or lower speed

Ok "drops the connection" not a reboot, mine only ever goes lower, once the connection speed drops it just stays low untill I reboot it.

as i posted earlier all you can do is contact the mods again get them to check the openreach notes and get the network problem fixed things should then improve for you
