4G Mini Hub

Go to solution

Hello All,

My internet is down with a PPPoE issue and after much difficulty of getting BT to agree for an engineer to come out, because I don’t have a HomeHub they are sending me a 4G Hub to keep me connected, also an engineer early next week after speaking with a very helpful and clever guy in the Newcastle office who understood the issue I was explaining. He deserves a promotion Danny I think his name was.

Does anyone know if I plug the device into my router it will act Share the WAN over USB. I know my router is capable of this but I can’t find any information on the Hub if it’s standalone etc?

Kind Regards

Mark

@mark238

The mini hub only transmits a wifi signal, it has no LAN port.

"You can connect up to 20 wi-fi devices. You won't be able to connect devices that need wired access."

Thanks Keith,

I assume setting the router to bridged mode to save me messing on and connecting all my devices might work, so I’ll give this a try instead.

Kind Regards
