I spent 4 days in Israel on business and was very chocked to recieve a £600 for data roaming. I have another phone with Three for which I received a text notification indicating the roaming coat /mb. I did not receive such text from BT nor any roaming alert during my stay. I wonder if this is done intentionally? Easy way to swindle customers maybe?
Welcome to the forum. On the limited occasions I've used data abroad I've not had any notification from my provider (not BT) and assumed that was the norm. I would have thought there have been enough warnings about the high cost to persuade people to keep roaming switched off.
Can I ask what the maximum cap spend on your account is mine only goes up to £200 I thought it was the same for everyone
