Yea problems here too (using the Bowes Park exchange) - connection dropped for half an hour last night and today is, according to the BT speedtest:
Download speed: 4.61
Upload speed: 7.65
Slower than my old broadband.
goto http://speedtester.bt.com/ and take the 'ADSL and Fibre Diagnostics' test.

By the way: the ip profile reported by speedtester is the same thing as the BRAS rate reported from the BrasChecker.
