£80 Mastercard/£40 Amazon vouchers


I signed up for BT Fibre 1 Broadband on 25th March via uSwitch, and my service was activated on 8th April.   There were two incentives on offer: £40 Amazon voucher and £80 BT Reward Mastercard.  I was directed to a website to claim the Amazon voucher, which told me to wait until my service was activated and then to claim.  I have done this.

When I got my account details, I logged in to the BT Rewards site and got the message that there were no rewards available to claim but to check back after the activation date.  I did so, but nothing had appeared.  After checking here on the BT Community, various posts suggested that we have to wait until after the 14-day cooling-off period before anything appears.  That period has now passed, but as yet no reward has become available.

I'm disappointed as the £120 was what tipped the balance in BT's favour.  I could have got a higher guaranteed speed for a lower monthly fee, but the £120 in vouchers meant that BT was cheaper over the full period of the contract.

You are going to have to give it a bit longer at the moment, as these are processed manually.

Try again in a week, and if you still cannot claim, then please post back here.

@Tamesis24 I'm sorry you've been unable to claim your reward card I'll send you a message so you can get in touch and we'll chase that up for you.

Hi @NeilO , I am in the same situation as @Tamesis24 . Could you please help me?

Current situation:

-Signed up for BT Fibre 1 Broadband on 20th April via uSwitch
-Service was activated on 27th April.
-Two incentives on offer: £40 Amazon voucher and £80 BT Reward Mastercard.
-No rewards has become available at BT rewards site.

I first called BT on 29/04/2020 and I was informed that I should wait 14 days for the cooling off period.
On the 18/05/2020 I contacted BT for the second time and I was informed that I had to wait 28 days from the activation.
Today (12/06/2020) I contacted BT again for the third time and they told me that they need to send a form to uSwitch and now I have to wait another 10 working days for a reply.

I am not confident that this will solve my issue. The reason for that is because the BT help desk seems not so familiar with my complain and after that I also checked in the uSwitch website in the "How to claim your BT Reward Card" and there is clear direction to use the BT reward website to claim the reward.

Could you please advise the correct procedure to claim both rewards?
