I had a problem with my broadband and a week last Tuesday, 9 days ago, the engineers came, fixed a fault, left happy and reset the line.
Since then, my broadband download speeds have gone up steadily from 38 to now 47, with my download noise margins going from 8 to now 4.5. I'm happy with that. The thing is that my upload speeds started off at the reset at 6 with noise margins of 6.2 but that has been going down daily and is now at 2 with a noise margin of 8.9. The line has been pretty solid, up until today actually, but today it seems to have dropped 3 times. This happened after the first one today dsl:VDSL link Up: Down Rate=48658Kbps, Up Rate=6135Kbps, SNR Margin Down=6.10dB, SNR Margin Up=4.10dB
and this happened after the second one: dsl:VDSL link Up: Down Rate=46121Kbps, Up Rate=2757Kbps, SNR Margin Down=0.00dB, SNR Margin Up=4.00dB
Snr and speeds at this moment are as above (47 down snr 4.5, 2 up, snr 8.9) according to the info tech page.
Any ideas what is going on here? Wondering if I have additional problems to that found the other day - or that my original problem hasn't been fixed after all. NeilO are you able to assist please? I had an original fault in May, thought fixed, spoke with you, then second fault made itself known on hot days (see other thread - Stable for a month after cable change, now restarting daily and speeds going down) then this one this week. They could be all one and the same fault or there could be a third new one (but that would seem a bit odd to me, but it may not be in the BT /broadband fibre world ).
