TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band VDSL/ADSL about £67 is very good unless you expect to get G.Fast.

https://www.tp-link.com/uk/products/details/cat-15_Archer-VR400.html#specifications

It can be locked to stay on one connection profile, eg ADSL. which means if you do get a line error, it recovers very quickly.

It has lots of extra features.

At £67 if need to replace not too exp if needs to be.

What about 802.1 ac and mimo ? Guessing I get what I pay for if want to get that would need to pay more.

Have NAS and Plex and want to stream to all TVs via PassThrough plugs / Amazon Firestick and mobile devices. ?

My ignorance with previous I’m guessing ‘ac’ version means supporting newer ‘ac’ wireless right ?

If you're prepared to spend a bit more money then I can strongly recommend the Asus DSL-AC68U at about £150. I've been using one for quite a few years now with 3 NAS devices , 2 CCTV systems, several printers, laptops, iPads,iPhones & PCs connected and it handles everything quite happily.

The one downside is that it won't handle G.Fast fibre connections if that's ever available to you.

I think if we ever got any type of fibre it’s most likely to be that far away it’ll be FTTP that’s how far away I believe we are to getting anything Fibre.

Thanks for earlier suggestion I followed this up and went to to-link and ran through the their analysis tool- it suggested -

http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/cat-15_Archer-VR900.html
Or
http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/cat-15_Archer-VR600.html

Wondered a friend also suggested if I can tweak SNR might also improve my broadband speed (but then that's perhaps a seperate discussion)

thoughts ?

Are all the routers listed here capable of supporting BT TV?

 Thanks

The TP link ones do, by default, not sure about others, they may need some settings changed.
