ADSL to ADSL2+

I am currently on ADSL and would like to be upgraded to ADSL2+ as it has now become available for my house.

Whenever I ring customer services they tell me I am on the fastest package available to me, however I know I am not as the bt speedchecker says my estimate download speed I can receive is 17mb but I am only getting 6.5mb.

Re: ADSL to ADSL2+

Once the Forum Mods have read your post they will post an invite here once you reply to them they will take personal ownership of the problem until resolved
do not send them a Personal Message as this is the incorrect contact method and cannot be properly tracked also the mod contacted may not be on shift for sometime and this will delay your help

To move to ADSL2+ you will need to recontract

Re: ADSL to ADSL2+

Thanks, you would expect to see a connection speed of at least 17Mbs with your line length.

Renewing your contract is one way to get upgraded, but if you ask nicely, one of the moderators here should be able to help Smiley Wink

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.

They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are a UK based team of people, who take personal ownership of your problem.

Once you get a reply, if you click on their name, you will see a screen like this. Click on the link as shown below.
Please do not send them a personal message, as they may not be on duty for a long time, and your message will not be tracked properly.

For your own security, do not post any personal details, on this forum. That includes any tracking number you are give.

They will respond either by phone or e-mail within 5-6 working days.
Please use the tracked e-mail, to reply, not via the forum. Thanks

Re: ADSL to ADSL2+

Hi kgiles and welcome,

I can look into this for you if you wish. Drop me an email with the details. You'll find the "contact us" form in the about me section of my profile. Once I have the details we'll take it from there.

Cheers

David

I assume you meant "contact the mods" link, and not the BT Contact us link, which is not the same?
