I'm trying to find my AJM/BTCOM Reference for a missing TopCashBack claim. I can only see the VOL number in all correspondence from BT. It's not chowing in "My Orders" section in MyBT either. I asked on chat for it earlier and was given a reference number but TopCashBack are telling me this inst the AJM/BTCOM one so I'm a bit stuck.
Does anyone know where I can find this number?

Hi @Si1986 sorry that you were not given the AJM/BTC reference when you contacted earlier. What were the first 3 characters of the reference the chat advisor gave you?
Has your service been connected yet? The AJM/BTC reference is usually listed on the email sent on the activation date.

Cheers for getting back to me, much appreciated. The first 3 characters that the adviser gave to me was "Z60".
I've not been connected yet, my activation date is June 9th. Am I getting ahead of myself then? I put the order in on 18/05 and cashback usually tracks very fast, but in this instance it hasn't.

Hi @Si1986 thanks for confirming that for me. A 'Z60' reference shows that your order has not tracked for cashback and that explains why the chat team could not find the AJM/BTC reference when you contacted. As you are not connected if you want to get the cashback then you would need to call and cancel the order and place a new order from the cashback site.
There are a number of factors that cause an order to not track so check out This Guidance from TCB so you can ensure your order is tracked successfully should you replace it.

Ah Ok that's a bit of a pain. I've just cancelled as suggested. I'll look at re-ordering tomorrow and hope it works this time. I use uBlock Origin so I suspect this has caused the problem, it was white-listed on TCB though so I suspect it's blocked something on the BT end maybe. I've just removed it to be sure.
Will this cancellation now inform my current provider (Plusnet) not to cut me off on June 9th? Obviously when I re-order now a week later my install date will be later. I'm working from home at the minute so don't want to end up being cut off and without internet while I wait for the new install date.
Will I also get the £9.99 order fee refunded?

Hi @Si1986 once the order cancellation is completed then the transfer will be cancelled also and any charges paid in advance wqill be automatically refunded back to you.
Hope your next order is tracked successfully and you can check with the chat team for the AJM/BTC reference to check shortly after the order is placed.

Just to come back to this. I cancelled 6 days ago but have as yet not had the £9.99 refund given back. I want to make sure I get it back before starting a fresh order. I can't get through on online chat as it says it's too busy. Would it be possible for you to check for me? The reference number is - Z60AAZZZZ..... If it just takes a few more days then I'll wait it out but thought I would have seen it back by now.
