Hi
I joined up with BT because it was the best deal at the time including a cash back claim. I have been contacting none stop to try and retrieve an AJM/BTCOM reference number that top cash back need to process the claim. However BT just are not providing me with it. I have seen a few others on the community have had the same problem in the past. I have raised complaints as well as spoken to agents on the live chat but complaints just keep getting closed after they provide me with a reference number that I already have from documents and not the one I’m asking for. Does any one know how I can retrieve this reference (AJM/BTCOM)? It’s being going on for months now and just want it sorted. Thanks
Hi Mlc162 welcome to the forum and sorry you are having trouble with claiming your cashback. Please check the email sent on completion day of your order and it will show the order reference.
It should begin with AJM or BTC for cashback. If your order reference starts Z60 then unfortunately your order has not tracked successfully for cashback.
cheers
John
Hi john,
Yes my reference starts Z60... why would this have not been tracked correctly? And is there any way to resolve this?
Thanks for your reply!
Hi @Mlc162,
Thanks for getting back to us.
There can be a number of reasons that it didn't track correctly.
We need to find out what happened for you. I've sent you a private message with some info we need.
Thanks

Hi,
is there any update on this please? I have replied to private messages and provided all information requested.
Thanks
Hi @Mlc162
Thanks for posting back!
I have checked and we have received your details. We are extremely busy at the moment. As soon as your details reach the top of our queue we will get back to you to provide you with the info you're looking for.
Cheers,
Robbie
Was there a resolution to this? I'm experiencing this exact same problem. To be honest, the only reason I chose BT over Sky! I have. Z60 reference number but 100% went through topcashback.
The tracking is all done via cookies so if you view BT deals on multiple sites it will track the first site you view or if you click on the sponsored search results at the top of a Google search it will track as google. I think the cookies hang about for 48 hours but it's best to delete your cookies before starting the ordering process when you find the site you are going to use to be on the safe side.
