I've just noticed that ALL Google services (Google search / Youtube / API services) appear 'down' when I am connected to the internet using a nearby 'BT Wi-Fi' access point / hotspot (Obviously, I'm not at home right now).
Any attempt to browse to or use ANY google service at all results in a 'timeout'. Other services/sites work fine, it's just any Google service is unreachable... which is a pain when a webpage tries to load resources from some google service or other,
No, Google isn't 'down' - it all works fine from elsewhere just not when connected via the 'BT Wi-Fi' service from nearby homehubs. This seems to happen a lot lately.... has anyone else noticed this?
Technically, TCP fails to connect to the google service involved. It's almost as if the TCP SYN or SYN/ACKs are being 'blackholed' or otherwise lost. Have BT or Liberty Global got peering problems again 🙂 ?
I've been having issues recently trying to access Google but using a different ISP to BT.
I wonder if there are issues on their end?
