AMC Sound Issue

Hi,

I was watching AMC last night in HD through Sky and noticed an issue with the sound. It has sort of an echo constantly.

I swapped channels and all others seem OK, I reset my Q box anyway but still the same.

I wasn't sure if to report this to Sky or on here. I noticed in September last year someone reported a similar issue on here and it got resolved so i thought best to start here.

It was AMC in HD causing the problem.

I have the same problem with the sound and I have Sky +.  I switched over to the non HD channel the sound is better but still **bleep**.  I am in the middle of the reset dance and blame the other provider with Sky TV.

Having the exact same problem here. Contacted BT via chat and they tweaked a few things their end and told me to restart my box but it didn't work. I have just noticed however that a way to 'fix the problem is to switch on audio description on the channel via your Q remote. Obviously not the ideal solution, but will most likely give sky a ring too

Got the same problem here. I've been in touch with BT via the chat and they told me they would tweak a few things their end and told me to restart my Q box but it didn't help. They told me that they think my dish has been knocked out of position, but every other channel is absolutely fine. I did however find a little 'fix'. If you turn Audio Description on, which is a completely different audio channel, it solves the problem. It's not much of a fix but it seems to help. I'll probably get in touch with Sky over this as it seems to be a problem at their end.

I have the same issue today. Echo sound on AMC HD channel. I’ve only just signed up to BT and I’ve never had this issue with any other channels through my sky box. Does it just get resolved in its own? Is this what I’ve got to look forward to?

Same here - but only on Sky box - BTtv is good.
