Re: AMC TO LAUNCH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE UK, EXCLUSIVELY FROM BT

Do you have a current BT TV subscription as I think it is only available if you do?

Re: AMC TO LAUNCH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE UK, EXCLUSIVELY FROM BT

I am hugely disappointed with the lack of subtitles on this channel. I was looking forward to watch Fear the Walking Dead and Mad Men but I will have to give it a miss since the channel has no subtitles at all. Pretty ridiculous.

You need to have the free BT sport pack to get AMC.

Oh right that's where I'm going wrong then, do I have to start a new contract to get the BT sports pack as I am currently out of contract.

That is incorrect. If you have the BT Sport pack on BT TV then you will be able to get AMC but you don't need to have signed up to the Sport Pack to get AMC.

BT state that 'AMC Channel is free for BT TV customers enabled for internet channels. Requires minimum line speed'

So if you have e.g. any other BT TV pack with internet channels - even without sports - you should be able to get AMC.

Whether you can just sign up for AMC without having any existing BT internet channels - even if your line willl support internet channels - looks doubtful.

Re: AMC TO LAUNCH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE UK, EXCLUSIVELY FROM BT

Although from their T&C:

"AMC channel on BT TV

You'll need sufficient line speed and a subscription to the BT Sport Pack on BT TV or an extra channel pack to watch the live AMC channel on BT TV. Existing BT TV customers who do not subscribe to an extra channel pack or the BT Sport Pack will need to take the BT Sport Pack on BT TV and re-contract BT TV and BT broadband for 12 months to watch the live channel on BT TV. AMC is a separate bolt-on bonus channel and may be removed at any time.

"

So if you don't have any existing internet channels you will need to take BT Sport Pack to get AMC after all.

Re: AMC TO LAUNCH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE UK, EXCLUSIVELY FROM BT

I just get my bt tv and I try to watch this tv show now...however there is no subtitle!  I have weak hearing and need this function.  I had double check the youview box setting and it's already set with subtitle as default.

Please provide subtitle, thanks
