So this price rise will also be levied on new customers that are only a couple of months into their contract ?
I am on Infinity 2, anytime calls and top tv package.
If so, I will not be a happy bunny !
According to the article, then my lot will go up by £50 odd a year.
That is not good BT.
July 3rd it all kicks in, I will still have about 9&1/2 months to go so will probably drop TV/Sport part of my package when I can.
Funny but true comment near the end ☺ "That's why we have invested to be able to promise that we'll answer 80% of our customers' calls in the UK by the end of this year" So if I phone up now ☺
I did phone up and it was 20 minutes before I was connected.
The advisor confirmed that my new package was going up by £5.00 a month.
Like you, I will drop the Tv package / Sport when I can and see if anything else can be trimmed.
Cheers BT !
Remember you can cancel your contract if not happy, that is exactly what I will be doing later.
In one article it said after the Anytime Calls price increase, calls to BT Mobiles will be inclusive.
Since BT's main competitors now bundle calls to ALL mobiles in Anytime Calls, I very much hope it's not just calls to BT mobiles that is inclusive.
Surely I can't be affected if I've only been a customer for a week?!
If so, it'll be a right pain cancelling after going to all that effort switching away from Sky and Plusnet
