My dad is currently paying £45.49 for broadband unlimited speed range 7mb-16mb which seems crazy high to me. Just wondered if this is in the right range or is he being taken advantage of? His contract is almost up and for what he's paying he may as well switch to virgin fiber.
if contract almost up then phone options team on 0800800030 and see what you can negotiate if you don't like terms don't accept try again in few days and get different advisor and see if any better
Hi @Asun ,
Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. Sorry for my late reply. @imjolly has offered some great advice here but you might also want to speak with our loyalty team on 0800 800 150 who can check the account and maybe offer a better deal. Can you let me know how you get on with that?
Cheers
David
Not really interested in getting a new deal with BT if they have been taking advantage of him for years. Just really want to know if the price he is on now was correct. Signing up as a new customer on my street on this broadband apparently would be £32 a month so im quite angry about the price he has been paying. THAT price was one of these so called deals so i dread to think what he was paying before.
all the deals are for the contract term and when the term ends you revert back to standard terms as the deal is finished It is up to the customer to renegotiate a new deal for another term
His normal price is going to be higher than fiber prices. Shocking company

Standard BB is £45.49
SFF 1 is £52.49
So he isn't paying more, however the prices above are without discount, it's always worth negotiating a discount in exchange for a contract renewal 🙂
