ASUS DSL-AC88U Router and BT Sport

Go to solution

Can anyone help with settings for an ASUS DSL-AC88U router?

I can launch BT player, access the internet etc but BT Sport channels (SD, HD, and Ultimate HD) all fail to load and I get an error message IPC6023.

The automated diagnostics on BT Sport all make incorrect assumptions about my account and incorrectly tell me that the problem is fixed, so any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

IGMP Snooping needs to be enabled. If that's not the problem then maybe this will help https://www.increasebroadbandspeed.co.uk/set-up-asus-rt-ac87u-bttv-multicast

Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately, they didn't work. The interface is a little different to yours:

Have you tried with IGMP proxy disabled, IGMP snooping enabled?

Hi @licquorice

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that - no luck. Same error message.

Are you sure WAN1 is the right logical WAN port for DSL input.

Sorry I should have been more specific. FTTP or FTTC.  The DSL-AC88U is a modem/router but if you have FTTP then you already have a modem (the ONT) and all you need is a router (the Asus RT series)
