I have unlimited Broadband - but I would like to be able to check my usage.
Your helpline has advised that I cannot access this info via "MY BT" account which sssms a bit dumb.
As an alternative might it be possible to include Broadband usage on the bill?
Thanks

It's not going to happen unfortunately just like names appearing on current phone call usage.
BT consciously uncoupled unlimited customers from the usage monitor a few years back; there was a workaround but they eventually closed that off too. There was some BS given as to why the monitor was unhelpful to unlimited customers, but no better explanation for the change ever emerged than that it was simply a ploy to discourage low users from downgrading.
My guess is that the limited option will disappear at some point, though mucking customers about meanwhile does BT no credit.
With BT making life more and more complicated with their packages and poorer customer care I will probably change to exclusively mobile (not bt) when we move house - it will cost half the price and can't be any worse.
You could install a usage monitor like Broadband Meter but it would only be for each PC.
thats a thought
thanks
You could try Download NetMeter - MajorGeeks . It's nicer than the other 1 but hasn't worked for me since Win 8.
Thanks for the alternative
I have found Shaplus which I am trying - basic but seems to do what I need
