Accessing mybtdevice.home

I have a SmartHub 2 with a BT Mini Wifi hotspot 600 attached. If I connect my iPad by wifi to the hotspot and put mybtdevice.home into the Safari address bar, it simply brings up a google page of relevant searches rather than a page which would enable me, for example, to change the name of the hotspot.

Clearly there is something that I have not understood, but what is it please?

The mini 600 does not have that capability. If you just want to change the SSID to the same as your router the mini has a cloning capability. The plus 600 hotspot did have advanced settings you could access but has been discontinued.
