Hi there.

The Grand Old Duke of York, he had 10,000 men; but, what if there were 10,000 Dukes of York.

I stopped at 3, it takes too long ?

Yes, you've all guessed correctly, the "suspension" notice is still there !

I wonder if I can put a bet on the outcome at "William Hill".
Other bookies are also available. Terms & Conditions apply !

Re: Account Suspension Message : Déjà vu ?

Hi there.

You'd like to think that the proposed "suspension notice", is a non-service-affecting fault, that will be cleared in the background, when resource is available.

The alternative is, "Beware the Ides of July", for obvious reasons.

One way or the other; a timely update post, by those in charge; would be appreciated.

Best regards. COMPANY-PENSIONER. Smiley Frustrated

FWIIW I contacted BT a few days ago and they told me to ignore the message. I am sure that is correct but like the OP I would like to here something from the Moderators on this issue.

Unfortunately BT keep the mods in the dark as much as the rest of us!

I have asked the moderators again for an update and guidance if this can be ignored. Hopefully they will reply soon.

Re: Account Suspension Message : Déjà vu ?

Morning All.

Yes, the "suspension flag" is current.

The "silence issue" appears to be an accepted business practice. How have I come to that conclusion.

Well, not only have BT Mail become silent on the issue.
I reported a non-service-affecting fault to "Yahoo : Flickr". I was issued a slip number; it's been silent ever since.
I have the same impasse with FIAT, regarding my vehicle. As long as the issue is not dangerous, silence.

So, with 3 Globals playing the "Silence Is Golden Card"; it must be an accepted business practice.

ps. Could all be in my mind. A sort of conspiracy theory; but then, people conspire against me ? Smiley Indifferent

Re: Account Suspension Message : Déjà vu ?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your continued patience.  Apologies for the lack of info coming from us on this problem.

I have spoken with the email team this morning and they have confirmed that this is a fault that they are working on.  They have advised that logging into the email account in question, via BT.com, should result in the message disappearing.  However rest assured that this is being investigated and provided you are using the email addresses, BT will not be deleting these.

I am very sorry for the confusion and concern that has been caused over this.

Cheers

Sean

Thanks for the reply but as far as I am concerned logging in via BT.Com does NOT cause the message to disappear.
