Activation Problem

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has any advice on the current issue we’re facing. OpenReach and BT have been unable to carry out work due to a car parked on the OpenReach box.

We’ve asked for this car to be moved numerous times and have treaded lightly until recently - owner is now in a care home and the family are selling the house. We tried to report as abandoned but this has come to no avail. The car is fully taxed etc so 101 will not touch it.

We have a 4G connection that apparently runs out Christmas Eve and we don’t know what to do next as we’ve done all we can in asking for it to be moved. Any advice etc would be really appreciated.

Re: No Wifi!

did you try contacting the family and asking them to move the car?

Re: No Wifi!

Yes, we’ve tried that multiple times. They moved it so it’s off the box but will not move it off the pavement (pic attached) - meaning OpenReach still cannot do their work.

@Kelseyclarke94

Have you tried your local council?

Re: No Wifi!

Yes we have. They cannot do anything other than the same as us in asking - apparently they’ll be moving it soon but we do not have any dates etc so as of 24th we’ll not even have 4G as that runs out then.
