Hello,
My BT broadband and digital voice activation date was yesterday (25.01.2021). I was told that the broadband would be up and running up to 23:59 and the digital voice services would then start up to 30 minutes after that. However, I was waiting till 00:00 and they were still not activated.
But when I logged into my account, I saw an update of my order saying "We're sorry your broadband isn't working yet - we've got a specialist team working on it and we will let you as soon as we have more news. Thanks for your patience".
Early this morning (26th), I logged in again and saw another update saying "Sorry for the delay - your order is taking longer than expected. We're working on it and we will be in touch if there are any changes to your order. Thanks for your patience".
This is the second time I have had this problem. The first order I placed earlier got the same issue and that order was cancelled with no reasons - so BT replaced an order for me. But now the new order is experiencing exactly the same problem as the old one did. I am worrying there could possibly be another round of the problem, and I really want to know why it is always delayed, what exactly the reason is, and how long is it gonna take? I really need the internet.

if you are getting DV then I assume you are also getting FTTP so phone FTTP TEAM 08005874787 and ask for update
