Add 3rd disc to set up with Huawei router

I am trying to add a 3rd disc (bought after the others) on a set up with a Huawei router with only one LAN port. This means I can't plug in the 3rd disc to associate it to the system. I have tried a LAN cable splitter but that didn't work. What is the work around please?

You need a 5 port switch and plug 1 connection from that into the router & then you have 4 ports free.

Thank you, how is the 5 port switch different to the LAN splitter that I've already plugged into the one LAN port on the router?
