I currently have a pair of BT Mini Connectors linking my BT router and BT TV box. I'm getting v.poor wifi in the converted loft and would like to add a compatible device that hooks up to the powerline network, but generates a WiFi signal. Does BT produce a device that will do this?
I'm afraid I get rather lost in the multitude of different product descriptions on the BT site, but a number of the products on the BT site here, which profess to be powerline adapters, actually appear to be wifi extenders:

If BT don't produce something that will do this, will this Devolo device speak to the BT Mini Connector which is connected to the router?

Any help much appreciated.
The neatest solution is to replace the mini connectors with something like this
Thanks, but they appear to have been discontinued and also I don't really want to discard the mini connectors that I've already paid for. Is there an alternative?
There is if you've got an old hub
These are still available.

If you just want to add a wireless connection, then a wireless access point is all you need, like this.

Or https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/access-point/tl-wa901nd/
This simply plugs into one port of the mini connector.
