Ads on the TV screen.

Just been connected up by BT and was sifting through the channels looking for tonight's City/PSG match. The channel it's scheduled to broadcast on- BT Sport Europe- has an advertisement 'strip' down the left hand side of the screen, which frankly looks an eyesore.
Are all BT football games lumbered with this or can I get rid of it?

Yes it is an eyesore and has been discussed at length on the forum but it seems it is here to stay. BT seem to think its a good idea.

If the LBar, as its known, is present you can switch to BT Sports Extra 6 and watch the same programme without the LBar. But for live games the LBar is in fact removed.
