Whenever I am roaming with my BT Mobile SIM I always get 2 text messages from BT when I first turn on my phone in the new country. The first welcomes me to the new country and gives me details of call costs. The second says that I. Might have started to use data in the country and gives me cost details - but data is turned off and is never used when abroad. Once or twice I have been charged 1p or so but usually nothing. Any idea why BT thinks I am using data and texts me? I am using a Galaxy S4 and never had this problem with the same phone on my previous provider. It has happened in many different countries since I joined BT mobile.
Hi @plusman and thanks for posting.
I'm sure the text messages are just standard alerts but you might want to contact the mobile help chat team for confirmation.
Cheers
